SEMPERE MANNEQUINS OBTAIN REGISTRATION IN THE CARBON FOOTPRINT REGISTER.

We are committed to creating a sustainable retail environment.

What is the carbon footprint and why do we care about calculating it?

Calculating our carbon footprint is an important step towards sustainability and pollution reduction. The carbon footprint is a key indicator that measures all the greenhouse gases emitted directly or indirectly from the activity we carry out, the design, manufacture and distribution of mannequins and visual merchandising display products.

WHAT IS THE CARBON FOOTPRINT REGISTRY, CARBON OFFSETTING AND CARBON DIOXIDE ABSORPTION PROJECTS?

The Registry of Carbon Footprint, Offsetting and Absorption Projects is a national registry whose objective is to collect the efforts of Spanish companies in the calculation and reduction of greenhouse gas emissions generated by their activity. It also offers us the possibility of totally or partially offsetting our carbon footprint through a series of forestry projects located on national territory. These projects integrate numerous environmental and social benefits, including the absorption of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, known as carbon sequestration. In addition, all registered footprints must be accompanied by a reduction plan and are checked before registration.

What does it mean for Sempere Mannequins to obtain this registration?

The register reflects the efforts made by Sempere Mannequins as a first step in the process of calculating and then reducing and offsetting the greenhouse gas emissions generated by our activity.

The registration allows us to obtain a certificate with the right to use a seal, which in our case identifies that we are in the first phase (Footprint Calculation) where we have already created a roadmap that allows us to reduce our carbon footprint and take actions to offset all or part of the footprint generated.
